The game has had no updates in over 2 years so I am not expecting much in the way of bug fixes. Here are the problems that I encountered throughout my gaming experience:1) The Galactic Map caused my computer to crash when I tried to click on any solar system other than Jupiter. My internet connection was fine when this happened, making me believe that Dark Orbit is mainly the problem not my computer. Even after testing this out on several other computers in our office, all of them had the same problem with the Galactic Map. 2) The game's menus tend to crash when you try to change settings. The game does not give you time to save the settings that it has changed before crashing, making this a very frustrating problem. This can cause the game to crash after ever game is over if you score well, which is annoying.3) The game's voice chat lags when there is more than one person on it at once, causing constant unnecessary bugs. I have had this problem with Dark Orbit on multiple computers during the gaming experience. It causes all of your teammates to get disconnected, which also causes some of your achievement progress to get lost. I had to play multiple games of Dark Orbit just to get a few achievements, causing great frustration on my part.4) The game's grenade launcher was very unreliable on both the enemy and friendly bots, making it almost useless during a fire fight. I know it is a function of the weapon and not the game because I used it successfully in another FPS. The weapon would also sometimes stop working completely after about 5 minutes of gameplay, which was very frustrating when you are in the middle of a firefight.5) While playing online you will notice a lot of graphical glitches that can mess up your gameplay experience. Sometimes your gun will disappear during gameplay, sometimes the game will slow down to almost a complete stop, and sometimes you will be spectating an invisible player. These problems can occur at random times during gameplay.6) The game has very little customization making it harder to get into the game. The default options are not very appealing, causing some people to dislike this game without even trying it first. It would be nice if the game allowed for more character customization or different character classes like in Counter-Strike or Team Fortress 2 since everyone doesn't like to be painted orange.
